    Full Story

In 2023, Samjong KPMG provided advisory services for Orchestro's Series B capital raise.

Founded in 2018, the company was a fast-growing IT startup with revenue of KRW 33.8 billion and EBITDA of KRW 7.6 billion. With private cloud demand entering an early growth phase, the company required a sizeable capital raise to accelerate product development and lock in key customers.

Samjong KPMG positioned Orchestro as the only domestic alternative to foreign solutions with already-established critical public-sector customers, and — given the deal size was too large for traditional VCs — targeted PEFs as the primary investor base.

Because the IT business model was difficult for general audiences to grasp, the team invested significant time deepening business and market understanding to build investor conviction.

The result was a successfully closed KRW 130 billion Series B at a pre-money valuation of KRW 500 billion, with STIC Investments, IMM Investment, KDB Industrial Bank, and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea as the lead investors.
